Jaclyn
Smith & Cheryl Ladd confirmed at the AARP Movie Awards on
Monday, Feb 8th to EW.com reporter Lynette Rice that they have not
been asked to be a part of the new Charlie's Angels Show.
Jaclyn told Rice: “They have obviously made a mistake!” she joked. “I don’t know [whether I'd be interested]. It would depend on the role. Not sure I would want to repeat myself but it would depend on how they revisited the Angels concept. I think it is great. It could be a big hit if is well written and cast properly. It’s probably going to be fun to watch, either way.”
Cheryl said: “They haven’t called me yet, either,” she admitted. “The chemistry between the girls has to be right. That was really what it was about for us and what made our show so successful. People really enjoyed the chemistry we had together. And let’s face it — we were hot.”

          Meet Charles
          Mini-Charlie's Angels!!!

I
just saw this great mini-Charlie's Angels set made by artist
          and author, Charles Brogdon.

Charles has taken his passion of creating miniatures and re-created past TV sets! How cool is that! He has made the sets of Charlie's Angels Office, Friends , Family, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, The Partridge Family, Bewitched, to just name a few.
Charles creations are now in a new book tilted "On The Set, Take Two!" Charles took a few minutes to chat with me about creating his, Charlie's Angels set! Enjoy!

          Mike Pingel:
Which other miniatures have you done?
Charles Brogdon: I have made many miniature sets over about a
22 year period. Gosh that makes me feel old.

MP: How long did it take to make the Townsend office?
CB: Sets normally take 3 weeks to a month to build, but since the
Townsend office is quite small and that was the only permanent set on
Charlie's Angels, it only took 4 days.

MP: Are you a fan of Charlie's Angels?
CB: I love Charlie's Angels! I like season one best and I guess
my favorite episode would be Night of the Strangler. Second
would be Angels on Wheels. Season 3 I also love Disco Angels
          and Counterfeit Angels.

          MP: Who is your
          favorite Angel? and episode!
CB: I love all the Angels but I love Jill the most. She was not only a
babe but wholesome and an all around good sport. Always upbeat.

MP: What are the dimensions of the "Charlie's Angels"
          Miniature?
CB: My Townsend Agency set is about 14 inches long and about 10 inches
wide. In model train terms it's an "O" scale. It's built with Lego
          Bricks and various other elements.

MP: What is your next project?
CB: I don't really have a next set in mind. Charlie's Angels
was the last in a long string of new sets for my new book On The
Set Take Two! available at the blurb.com bookstore. In the book
you can see big up close pictures of the Charlie's Angels set
and other shows like Family and Bewitched, etc.

Deadline.com
has reported that General Hospital star, Annie Ilonzeh has
landed the role of Kate in the new Charlie's Angels show.
The story also mentions the new Charlie's Angels character names: Kate, Abby and Marisa.
Ilonzeh's character of Kate is mentioned to be the smart one, martial arts master and athletic.
Note: This is not an official announcement by ABC-TV and subject to change.
Robert
Wagner to be voice of Charlie

Robert Wagner confirmed he will be the voice of Charles
Townsend in the new ABC revamp of Charlie's Angels
          to Entertainment Weekly.

Wagner told EW.com “I would imagine it will probably be quite different because the technology is quite different. I would imagine it would be on cell phones wherever these gals are,” says Wagner, who hasn’t seen any scripts yet. “I could be tweeting them, I could be doing a lot of things with them, you know.”
In 1975, it was due to Robert Wagner's contract for THE AFFAIR, a TV movie he starred in with his wife, Natalie Wood that got the pilot of Charlie's Angels made. Due to the contract, Wagner and Natalie Wood were the silent producing partners with Spelling/Goldberg for the 1970s Charlie's Angels TV series. Wagner was also credited with bringing angel, Jaclyn Smith in as the third Angel. Wagner in the past has been in court fighting for his share of the movies and other re-creations of the series profits. He lost those cases,
The new series is to be set in sunny Miami and recent reports reviled that they plan to make the Bosley, a hot guy with a six pack abs.
No word as of yet who is to be cast as Charlie's newest Angels. A few heavenly names have been mentioned in the media including: Gabrielle Union, Kristen Bell, America Ferrera, Sarah Shahi and Jennifer Love-Hewitt
