Whom better to chat about the Charlie’s Angels history, but Angelologist, Mike Pingel. “Funny how a little website can make a path for one’s career!” Pingel mentions, “With a small fan website, I have been able to not only create a new website [Hollywoodfyi.com] but bring to life some of my idea for a tv series.”

Pingel who grew up as an Army kid, saw the world at an early age which set him on a path as a creative artist. He not only designs websites, written books & articles, he has also worked in PR at the world renowned Solters & Digney PR (formerly known as The Lee Solters Company) with PR legendary Lee Solters. ..and of course Pingel’s life long dream is to break into the field of acting. “Ever since Charlie’s Angels, I wanted to be an actor. My dream was to be on a Aaron Spelling TV series.”

Who is his Pingel’s favorite Angel???? “Cheryl Ladd who played Kris Munroe. She is my favorite Angel. Ladd is the reason, I wanted to be come an actor.” Pingel said. What about the new Angels? “Charlie’s Angels newest angels??? I would have to say hands down, Demi Moore! She plays a 80s Angel turns bad...now that’s HOT!”

Did you know Pingel was called upon during the preparation for the 2000 Charlie’s Angels movie for some consulting with producers Leonard Goldberg, Drew Barrymore and director, McG. Pingel even auditioned for the boyfriend of Natalie (Cameron Diaz’s character) for the first film version of Charlie’s Angels. Also he can be seen on the release of Charlie’s Angels: The Complete First Season on DVD (Columbia/TRI Star) in the bonus featurette “Angels Forever”

Pingel was also recently featured on Home & Garden’s Ultimate Collectors series and was also seen in Dolls magazine (April 2003) with a featured article on his Charlie’s Angels collection and will be seen later this fall on The Learning Channel's TV Road Trips
